What we collect

Using the Mening Mahallam app requires the following information:

Phone number — to create and verify your account (through the Telegram bot, not by SMS).
First and last name — shown on your profile and on your requests.
Profile photo and banner — optional, uploaded by you.
Location — to show a request on the map (only if you grant permission).
Messages — messages sent to neighbours through the in-app chat.
Notification token — to send push notifications to your phone (via Firebase Cloud Messaging).

Data is stored encrypted on Google Firebase (Firestore) and Supabase infrastructure. Files (images) are stored in Supabase Storage.

Your name, profile photo and phone number (if you allowed it to be shown) are visible only to members of your mahalla.
Private requests are visible only to you and the mahalla leadership (chairman, staff).
Public requests are visible to all members of the mahalla.
Messagesingizni faqat suhbatdoshingiz ko'radi.
We do not sell your data to third parties and do not share it for advertising.

You can turn off showing your phone number to other members in Settings.
You can turn off displaying your last-seen time.
You can block any user.
You can ask the admin to delete your account and its data (via @Ilyos_Ruzibekov on Telegram).
